Entourage -- Tonight's Episode

I thought tonight's episode of Entourage was great. I felt there were many hidden messages, as well as strategies that can be used in the art of seduction and in the business world. This is what we are going to do. I want to know what everybody gathered from this episode. In other words, what did you learn?

The person with the best analysis gets $100.00. This is not a joke. You have 24 hours.

Comment through my personal website, blogger, facebook, myspace- whatever. Make it happen.

"Fortune Favors the Bold" said Virgil & Alexander the Great. I noticed that Turtle & Vince both made bold moves when picking up their two girls. I guess making bold moves is the way to do it in the business world.

Get at me for that hundo.

Well.... first of all that episode was sick!!! I dont know much, but I do know that Vinny Chase is the man. But if $100.00 is on line here it goes.....

I noticed that Vinny didn't even care about that other hot girl, all he wanted was the chick he knew from the past. And when it was all said and done, she didn't even want him originally, but he convinced her that going w/ him was the right choice. So, with that said, I guess if you want something, you MUST go for it and get it.

Being a movie star means you don't have to know how to act.

If I was Chase I would have went for the other girl. Thats all I got to say.

I feel more guys should be that up front with girls. Drama has no idea what he wants- best character- but no idea. Most guys have no idea what they want. Guys get a clue.

I think the show should be an hour. Charlie talk to Wahlberg.

Pretty cool scene when Mark Wahlberg made a cameo appearance.

it seems like E is having a lot of trouble playing his role. But I respect the guy for not giving up- taking on new clients. Impressive.

A person can't do everything by himself. We have to pick people that we can trust. Even if that person just drives well...Turtle.

Good people is definitely key to success.

Charlie is right, as usual. Last nights episode of Entourage provided a complete array of hidden messages and strategies as to how hollywood works. In the episode it was stated that Vince was in "movie jail" and needed to wait for the stench of his last movie to disappear. In the mean time Vince feels the sting of being in movie jail. Vince runs into Justine Chapin, the young singer he had to pass up awhile back due to his firm policy. (Never be the first or the last.) At the party, Justine tries to pawn Vince off on a friend and Vince realizes just how far he's fallen. He demands an emergency meeting with Ari, promising to do whatever it takes to act like a movie star again

Closing on a girl is like closing on a business deal.

No matter how bad things are going in your life as long as you have a companion it doesn't matter. For example, Vinny Chase can't get a job for the life of him but now that he had a chick nothing else matters.

Professional Ari v. Amateur E

Yes it seems that E is onto good ideas most of the time, it is very obvious that he has no idea what he's doing. From my experience working in the business world as an entry level position..People are very quick to criticize yet they never want to help.

Why even look so deep into it? It was an episode of Entourage...But I guess that's why I scoop Ice Cream as my job.

Turtle is the most loyal one in that group.

Here's my thoughts, I thought Vinny's decision NOT to sit on his ass and wait, was an important one. No one gets ahead in the business world by "waiting" and "doing nothing". You have to put yourself out there with anyone and everyone who will give you a minute of their time. Make your name known, and most importantly, know how to talk. Knowing how to talk to people is %75 of the battle.

100% agree with Kay0s24.

The second episode of Entourage for this season taught us viewers very simple business practices that must be followed in order to succeed in any career path.

Vincent Chase is what we call "hungry". The man bombed his last job and is out of work, yet he still manages to live the "movie star" life. From most perspectives, this is great, however, if you sit around and wait the next guy is going to do it. Vince showed Ari that he means business and will do whatever it takes to get back even if that means starting from the bottom.

After the scene where he bursts into Ari's office and demands (note: he DOESN'T ask) work, I realized that regardless of social status, career choice and public perception that we all fall - it just depends how fast you pick yourself back up.

In closing, Ari Gold states "He [Vince] is the only client we will ever SHARE". This caught my attention and I went into analyzing why this is bad. My conclusion is that Mr. Gold is simply following ethical business practice. When it comes down to the final reasoning why Ari made that statement, without Vince, Ari can't provide the lifestyle he has already started for his family and without Ari, well, Vince can't "hang". Eric Murphy is JUST starting in the movie business so he must sacrifice a lot and bite the bullet when a superior is guiding him (to greatness). Also, Vince is taking the guidance of an experienced professional AS WELL as from his best friend. Ari is rigid and direct; Eric can throw in his 2 cents but is it even of value? We shall see in the next episode...
